The Air Guard Base is a weighted equipment pad, which the condenser unit sits on and is then encompassed by our Air Guard cage. The base is an alternative to pouring an expensive and cumbersome concrete platform.
Air Guard Bases’ exclusive vessel like structure allows the interior to be filled with sand or water at the jobsite to add weight and prevent theft. When filled the base weighs over 200 lbs. This is enough to support a 2-ton truck without deflection.
The Base is constructed of a high density polyethylene with added UV inhibitors for extended outdoor use. Construction is impact resistant even at freezing temperatures.
The rain gutter design funnels water away from the condenser unit by dispersing it out the front of the equipment base. Featured in a textured tan toned finish that compliments our standard cage finishes.
