Handle Measuring
Handle Height 2-Way Lock
2-Way Lockset:
Our standard handle height from the opening size is 38.75” top down. The lever has a projection of 1.875”, the thumb turn cylinder projects to 1.25”.

In most cases this measurement allows our door to avoid interfering with the primary doors’ handles. However, there is always an exception and it is wise to double check this measurement at the time of ordering just to be safe. Otherwise, you will end up building out the jamb to create additional depth clearance.

Measuring Instructions:
The handle height will always remain constant even when ordering a custom height door. We will always refer to the handle height dimension from the top down for this is a more accurate measurement given threshold variances.

To determine our lock placement use the following formula:

Door Opening minus the constant bottom measurement equals the top down handle height

EXAMPLE:
80 - 41.25 = 38.75
96 - 41.25 = 54.75
